Edward D. Goodman, Ph.D.

Edward D. GoodmanDr. Ed Goodman has found that many men and women reach a "status quo" in their lives and cannot find the motivation and personal resources to make positive changes. He has seen many coaching clients go from "just getting by" to going beyond what they dreamed possible.

In the last 10+ years, Dr. Goodman's coaching clients have included Entrepreneurs, Medical Doctors, Dentists, Professors, Attorneys, Accounting Professionals, Counselors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, people on various career paths and executives, including CEOs. In more than 25 years experience as a practicing Psychologist and relationship counselor, he has developed skills that lend themselves well to coaching.

His coaching is individually styled to focus on each client's greatest strengths and abilities. He encourages each client to envision the life they want, set goals and plan daily action steps.

Each step is supported by Ed's encouragement and reinforced by the client's accountability. He says, "You start from where you are and take actions that make you stretch. Each step forward brings with it greater confidence, competence and clarity of purpose." These daily action steps can achieve enormous goals.

After seeing the transformations that clients have made in their lives, Dr. Goodman believes that men and women have a natural ability to break free from limitations and create mastery, success and security.

After receiving his Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas Christian University, Dr. Goodman was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Florida Medical School, Center for Neurobiological Sciences. He served at Emory University as an Assistant Professor of Psychology for four years on both the Graduate and Undergraduate Faculties. During his professional career he has presented therapeutic communication training seminars to Medical Doctors, Dentists, Psychologists, Counselors and Psychiatrists for local, national and international organizations. He served as the Clinical Director at Dallas Psychiatric Associates. Recently, he received training as a Neutral Mental Health Professional in Collaborative Law.
